[Comments on the competition result by the Chairperson (Piotr Dumala)]
Our job as a jury was hard but only because there were so many good films which could have been awarded. However, we had to make a choice. Making the decision was difficult, but watching the films was a pleasure.
I want to express my thanks to the Selection Committee, my colleagues from the Jury and, of course, to the directors of films presented in the competition.
The films we saw during those days were full of deep feeling, important meaning, inspiring art forms, high craft, and a great sense of humor.

For finding a great equivalent of the literature in animated images, for richness of ideas and forms and meanings, and for a high consciousness of the language of animation.

This film is a deep contemplation on life, memories and family. It has a good balance between rational and emotional aspects, with a convincingly structured story delivered in a fine artistic style.
